From Russia With Love - 18 Apr 2021
The Occasional Performing Sinfonia delivered its 'From Russia With Love" Charity Concert on the 18th April 2021, at the Wenkart Theatre, Knox Grammar School Wahroonga.
It was something very special and rather rare. The youngest player was 10, our oldest 90 (nearly). Orchestra members came from city and country. There were teachers, students, enthusiastic amateur musos and professionals (from SSO, MSO and AOBO). The sound was amazing, a fact recognized by the audience in their comments afterwards.
We congratulate Carmela for her wonderful performance of the Khachaturian. Her performance was simply magic!

The Occasional Performing Sinfonia acknowledges the generous support of Knox Grammar School in the provision of its world-class performance space, Wenkart Theatre, all the orchestral equipment and the percussion instruments for this concert, rehearsal facilities, in particular Warren Fisher Director of Choirs, form making it possible.
