DISABILITY ACCESS
Drop off at the loading dock, off Druitt Street. (Do not stop on the street!). Please follow the directions of the City of Sydney officer(s) on duty. Please advise by email if you need this facility so that people on duty can expect you.
There are lifts to Centenary Hall to the right after you enter the STAGE DOOR (DOOR C). A volunteer or Town Hall staff member can provide directions and assistance.
ENTRY TO TOWN HALL
Walk to the Druitt Street side of Town Hall (the opposite side to Cathedral Square). Enter through the Stage Door. A volunteer will be there to greet you. If you do not have a wrist band, you can collect one there.
INSIDE TOWN HALL
Take the stairs to the left, 15 metres in, leading to the next level, Centenary Hall. Take a seat towards the front of the Hall, in your vocal part. If you are early or uncertain, please wait for directions from volunteers.
TOILETS are located at the front (stage) end of the hall in both left and right corridors.
BAGS, CHANGES OF CLOTHES etc.: Leave on the audience seats in the body of the hall, and await further instructions from staff.
HALL EXIT and ENTRY throughout the day will be via the Stage Door C.
AFTER THE REHEARSAL (at 12.30) you will be able to rest, regroup and recreate until 3.30, ready to take your allocated seats - to be advised - for the first half of the concert (Primary School Choir and small items)
CONCERT DRESS White tops, black bottoms, and optional modest cultural colours (e.g. non-reflective broach, bangles, earrings, hair band, fabric swatch etc) if desired.
MUSIC BOOKS To make your music easier to handle and to hold, consider stiffening the covers by taping or gluing cardboard inside.
VOLUNTEERS AND TOWN HALL SECURITY will be on duty throughout the day. Look for one of the "THREE JOHNS" managing Front of House (Everything in the Hall except the stage and backstage) and assisting with stage managing: John Hibbard, John Pickering and John Butchard.
Looking forward to a wonderful Celebration Sing Out in support of Music Therapy for sick children.
Thank you to all, for your joy, support and many hours of music learning!
